The Whitney is Detroit's most celebrated restaurant. Housed in a historic 52 room 1890s mansion on Woodward Avenue in the heart of Detroit's cultural district, The Whitney offers award-winning cuisine and an eclectic wine list in a stunning, warm atmosphere.

Our Sales-Banquet Manager will work with you to create the food and beverage package to fit your party's needs. We also have an in-house Pastry Chef that is available to create your perfect wedding cake.
We have private rooms for wedding receptions of 12 guests and up. The First Floor can seat approximately 180 guests. The Whitney Garden is available for ceremonies and receptions and can hold more than 400 guests. Wedding ceremonies may also be held inside the mansion on the 2nd Floor and on the 2nd and 3rd Floor Staircase Landing in front of the Tiffany Stained Glass window.

The countdown to 2012 is approaching quickly and reservations for New Years Eve at The Whitney are filling up fast. The Whitney will be offering three dinner seatings as well as a New Years Eve Celebration party. A four course meal with wine pairings will be served during each seating at 4 p.m., 6 p.m., and 9 p.m. The New Years Eve celebration party begins at 10 p.m. and will include live music, hors d'oeuvres, a champagne toast at midnight, and open call bar from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. For more details and pricing information, please call The Whitney at 313.832.5700.
