I am so privileged to spend time and photograph this amazing family every year.  When we are picking out the location, the outfits, the ideas, I always get so excited and anticipate a fabulous time.  The best part about the planning process is that these beautiful children have such an easy going mom that lets them be exactly who they are, at that point in time.  
Every year it results in genuine, fun photos that always end up being some of my very favorite of the year.  Who wouldn't want to fish with a wooden stick with these cuties! :)

The Foti Family {A Day in the Life} 2012-02-19

Madison's been juicing! 2012-02-01

Well, she's been making green juice for her momma and she loves it too! Everyday for breakfast, I partake in a lovely green juice made up of a base of 1 large cucumber and 4 stalks of celery.  From there, I add anything from sunflower sprouts, brocolli stems, beet greens, romaine, spinach, kale or whatever else I have on hand!  My personal favorite is the base plus beet greens (SO yummy and makes the juice a gorgeous red color!), and sunflower sprouts.  It usually yields 16-18 ounces of goodness but today we got 20 ounces of love!  It is a wonderful, healing start to my day and I have the amazing Kris Carr to thank for it.  Today marks the end of the 21 day cleanse I did from her book Crazy Sexy Diet.  I am down about 9 pounds and feeling fantastic.  I love her plan, her book, her movie and feel over all so much healthier than I did 3 weeks ago.  I have a feeling 2012 is going to be a great year!  Especially with such a great "juicer" in the house. :)


I should mention, I do not have a fancy juicer just yet.  Steve had an old Krups model collecting dust that I have been using for the last 3 weeks.  I have grown to love the taste of the juice and all the amazing nutrients it is providing me but I do plan on upgrading our juicer soon!

Sibling session 2011-11-18

Sweet, loving, smart and fun.  Those are just a few words to describe the incredible siblings from this session.  I have known this family for about 13 years and let me tell you, these kids just get more beautiful every year!  This year, I challenged them with some model type poses, and to say they were up for it, is an understatement!  Thank you guys, for being so fabulously you!!

Holiday Mini Sessions 2011-10-04

Our holiday mini sessions are underway and we couldn't be more excited!  It's finally cooling down here in Phoenix and it's time to get your holiday portrait session off of your checklist!


Mini Session FAQs
What is a mini session?The holiday mini sessions are just a shorter version of our regular sessions, and focuses specifically on the family shot.  We have a full session upgrade available with this special deal, to include more time for other groupings such as individual portraits of kids, portraits of Mom and Dad, etc...  Please inquire for details.
What is this session for?These sessions are perfect for your holiday cards, holiday gifts for special family and friends, as well as updated family photos for your home.  Mini sessions are meant specifically for immediate family.  For larger sessions, please contact us for rates and upgrades.
When will these sessions take place?Our holiday mini sessions will be held on Saturday, October 29th and Saturday, November 19th.  Please email us for time and location information.  Sessions are booked every 45 minutes, so please plan to arrive at least 5 minutes early to your session, to ensure you get the full allotted session time.
How do I book my session?Please email us at: info@thisislifephotography.com to secure a date and time for your mini session.  We have limited sessions available and will be taken on a first come, first serve basis.  The $175 mini session fee is due upon booking.  This session fee is non refundable. 
Will we be able to order prints and products, such as canvases and albums?Of course!  Special package pricing will be available to the mini session clients and will includes items such as gift prints, canvases, albums and the session disk.  We believe that professional portraits make the best, most personal holiday gift! :)
