Hey everybody! This is Kyle and Theresa. They’re an awesome couple in love who chose me to be their photographer. They’re wedding is TODAY. This session is from the fall, but I thought I’d give you something fun to look at while you wait for their wedding photos to get edited over the next few weeks. Be sure to leave them lots of blog love.
We shot in Saddlebrook, MO and Branson, MO. It was a gorgeous fall afternoon and the photos are just gorgeous, but they wouldn’t anything special if they didn’t have this very cool, laid back, in love couple in them. Kyle, Theresa… by the time you see this you’ll be man and wife, and I’ll be on my way home or already home. May the peace of God bless you and keep you in all the days of your lives together, Amen. Ya’ll rock my world with your quiet stillness and loveliness.
So in love… =o)

For a moment, I thought they might just fall back into the stream!

Mmmm, love + nature = classic!

Love the winding roads out at Saddlebrook.

My personal favorite for regular relaxed portraits from the day.

Love this rock alley!

So in love!

Love this sequence! Check out the 2nd photo for the payoff!

Love this!

2nd Fav shot from the day!

Kyle has such adoration for Theresa… it’s inspiring.

Awww! =o)

If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a thousand times… I am blessed with the best clients ever. Such love, such beauty and such realness.
To everyone who is showing up here after the wedding… leave these awesome people some blog love!

Hey everyone! What a busy summer it’s been! I’ve got a TON of new photos to post, and galleries to finish up for clients here, there, and everywhere!
I’m headed back out to The Garden of Dreams at Honeybranch Cave, in Sparta, Missouri, for the third time this year! It’s been great every time and I can’t wait to photograph Trish and Dustin’s wedding today! Yup, today! I’m then headed to Louisiana, Missouri for another wedding Saturday! The fun NEVER stops! Be sure to check out BOTH blog posts, because both couples deserve lots of love and attention!
We hit Saddlebrooke, Missouri for our session where I received no less than 75 chigger bites, but it was worth it. The photos are smogeous (Smokin’ – Gorgeous!) and well worth all the heat and effort we took to get them! On with the show!
In just a few hours they’ll be well on their way down the long, fun, road of marriage. I love shots like this!

Meet Dustin and Trish! Super awesome clients who are getting married today! July 10th, 2009!!!

Meet Trish’s beloved truck, Tinkerbell.
We’ll be 4×4′ing and having an offroads Trash the Dress session after the honeymoon later this summer.

She’s proud of her man, Dustin and proud of her truck!

He’s proud of her and supports her love of the truck.

We 4×4′d it to the outcropping on an Ozark mountain/hill to get these shots…
(also were the chiggers live on that berry brush you see in the photos) =o)

Did I fail to mention that it was 96+ degrees with crazy humidity out in the middle of an Missouri summer?
It was HOTTTT… and the photos we’re good too. ;o)

Looooooove this photo. =o)

We then headed inland, to the shade and a beautiful Missouri creek where we found solace from the heat.

Did I mention that it was GORGEOUS there!

Crazy awesome clients, totally bless my life. Thanks guys…. you rock!

I love my flare shots. Not to be confused with Tom Cruise in Risky Business and bartending “flair”, or shots… =o)

And this is the shot they chose for their 11×14 sign in photo for the wedding today. So much prettier in person!

You’ll see more, crazy bling bling ring shots from the wedding when I post about that.
This will have to keep you happy for now. =o) A lil antique action, for a gorgeous ring!

We then headed into old downtown Branson, Missouri to end the session darting
in and between dark alleys and two different tour groups… at 9:30PM at night!

Final shot… after we dodged a second tour group with an over eager cameraman.
I hope he enjoys the video of me working, and my clients making out for the camera. Really…

And that is a wrap folks… EXCEPT for the awesome double post, right above this one! Be sure to check BOTH awesome couples out, as they celebrate their weddings this weekend!
God bless!

Hey everyone! Just so you know… This is a double blog post day! I’m about to get a little more rest before an awesome afternoon wedding today, and then I head off tonight for Louisiana, Missouri and Josh & Erica’s wedding day on July 11th 2009! Directly following THIS blog post, is another awesome couple getting married today in Sparta, Missouri. Please be sure to check out both awesome couples as they start their married lives together this weekend. I am blessed with the absolute best clients in the world. Truly gifts from God.
Josh & Erica’s engagement session happened in Springfield, Missouri… you know it, Big city style! My new assistant Sarah, was on hand and is completely and wholeheartedly WHY these engagement photos look so awesome. The follows me around 2-4 hours, with a portable light stand, my bag, and anything else we need for the client. Without a doubt, she’s a BIG reason why Red Vine Studios and the work therein is so smokin’ hot. On with the show!
We started in a secret spot I love to shoot in, that totally, completely looks like we’re off in the boondocks… except we’re not. =o)

OMG… so awesome. Can’t hide their love, EVEN in the background. =o)

We then headed into downtown Springfield, Missouri to glam it up.

The first of MANY MANY ring shots that will hopefully bring your jaws to the floor. =o) (And the legal)
Red Vine Studios is not liable for any dental work needed after said jaw drops to the floor.

Smogeous (Smokin-Gorgeous!) details, make me grin. I absolutely love killer shoes… his, hers, the ground, the legs. Killer guys!

Here’s the shot they chose for their 8×10 sign in board for their wedding day, Saturday! Like this, but bigger, better, and black and white. =o)

I adore the look of admiration in Josh’s eyes as he look deeply at his Bride to be! You rock Josh!

So… where do you go from all this HOTNESS? Of course you convince a local coffeeshop to let you walk out
with their awesome glass ice cream bowls, then go have a blast sitting in the grass, eating ice cream and making out! LOL, oh yeah!

The absolute, cutest photo from the entire session… Folks, it does NOT get any better, or more fun than this.

Let’s just say that the ice cream wasn’t just melting from the heat of the sun and summer fun. =o)

We of course returned the bowls to the coffeeshop, and then went for a walk.

Our downtown? All mural’ed and beautiful? You betcha! (This you betcha has been Sarah Palin approved)

Gorgeous… and many other adjectives PG to PG-13 rated. =o)

While Erica and Josh both changed clothes in my portable changing booth, I was off getting the ring shots of all engagement session ring shots. =o)
I wonder what this says about marriage, relationships, and the such? I love the colors, the contrast, everything!

All about shadows, sunset lighting, and texture baby!

I call this shot the “Lord of the Bling”. Do you remember that scene in Lord of the Rings where the evil guy
who’s super all powerful but contained in that all seeing eye? Totally an homage to this - http://freemasonry.bcy.ca/anti-masonry/all_seeing_eye/sauron.jpg

OMG, the heels… again ladies. If you put the effort in, I will make it worth your while!

Check out Josh totally diggin’ on Erica. =o) Love this shot.

Totally a cinematic feel to this shot. The couple, alone on the street, pan camera right… and action!

Who says nighttime, misfires and candids aren’t gorgeous? Not me… I adore realness, and it doesn’t get any more real than this!

And Josh & Erica’s curtain call for the evening.

Another awesome couple… another 4 1/2 engagement shoot, and just a normal day at work for Red Vine Studios. We could not do it without the love and support of our Twitter followers, Facebook friends, Fans & Family, nor the support of gorgeous, young couples in love who have chosen us to capture them in a real, tactile, way. Coincidentally, when you book ANY wedding with Red Vine Studios you get a free engagement session with no real set time limit. My limit is gorgeousness. If we’re done in 2 hours, awesome. I’ve gone as long as 6, yes… on an engagement session. This is the time where we work together, for the overall good of your wedding day, our relationship and most importantly killer photos. =o)
I am way beyond blessed. So be on watch here at the blog for some exciting news following my arrival home next week. 2009 and 2010 wedding discounts, more awesome photos, wedding posts, coupons for print discounts, and much much more.
Pray we ALL… have an awesome weekend and be sure to check out Trish and Dustin’s engagement session right below this post.

Hey everyone!!
What a summer, I tell ya. It’s been long, hot, exciting, busy, tiring, and always filled with awesome clients, engaged couples, families, babies, and weddings. I’ve got about 10 blog posts ready to go to keep you filled in for the next month or so.
I’m kicking it off, by posting some favorite previews from a shoot I had today with Baby Will and his mommy Chelsea. We used to goto Baptist Bible College together and I did a photo session 4 years ago for her and her brother to surprise their mom with. Repeat business is a blessing.
Here’s little Will, such a little man. He giggled and coo’d the whole hour we shot! What a trooper! You’ll also notice the brand new Damask patterned backdrop I’m using for this shoot. It arrived Friday and it’s amazing! I cannot wait to shoot multiple seniors on it this fall, spring, and whomever else!
Enjoy these photos Chelsea, Will’s adorable! Thanks again!!
This backdrop is amazing! I’m in love with it… =oP

Still looking good in black and white!

Will’s so cute, just about ready to sit up all on his own all by himself!

This is when Will discovered his feet and socks… I laughed a ton as he kicked and kicked!

Socks close up!

Will has the biggest blue eyes I’ve seen on a kid in a long time. Mothers and Fathers lock those lil girls up now!

Again… SO cute!

I think we had about 3 toys, a mirror, anything we could to keep his attention. Thank goodness for my Canon 1 D Mark III, and it’s 10 frames per second.
Which means, we caught Will being himself, with no oops, no lag, no missed shots. So freeing to trust professional grade equipment!

Then we moved onto the white seamless paper, which I love to shoot on. I believe in keeping things simple and real.

Between a few crying fits, Will would push himself up like a big boy and grin at me…

Here he goes again!

My personal favorite from the entire set today!

Thanks again for stopping by and checking little Will out. Be sure to leave some blog love for the growing family. It’ll really make their day.
God bless!
