Rachel had been recommended to us by Lindsay Blackwell, the coordinator at Nature’s Point back in May. We were exactly what she was wanted for her wedding photography! Right after she booked us, she moved to Washington to be with her fiance, AJ. They were looking forward to some Texas sunshine for the wedding, but it seems that the gloomy Northwest weather followed them to Austin. Nevertheless, Rachel and AJ had a wonderful wedding day despite the fact it rained nearly all day long. Rachel was such a calm and collected bride who took everything in stride. As long as she got to marry AJ, she was going to be happy! The touching ceremony took place at St. Mary, Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with beautiful music by Musical Discovery Chamber Players of Austin. Back at Nature’s Point, the guests dined on fabulous fare from Austin Catering and scrumptious cakes from Michelle’s Patisserie. The gorgeous flower arrangement were by Bouquets of Austin. DJ Byrne Rock provided the tunes for them to dance the night away. Congratulations to Rachel and AJ!

Ashley and Jonathan found us through their wedding venue, Kindred Oaks. Their friends thought Rebel with a Camera sounded a little dangerous. But Jonathan was impressed by how quickly we responded to his inquiry, how thoroughly professional we were, and how fantastic our photos were. So he and Ashley decided to take a walk on the wild side with their wedding photography! First, they wanted to do their engagement session in Hutto, but there was a festival in downtown Hutto that day. We suggested downtown Georgetown. Then we discovered practically the day before the shoot, there was a festival going in the Georgetown square that day too! Nothing ever happens in Granger, so we decided to shoot there, and we had a complete blast with no crowds or interruptions!

Kim is a statuesque blond who has been a movie stunt woman and a dancer at Universal Studios. Ralph is a no-nonsense tough guy from New Jersey. Their wedding was like Hollywood meets Jersey Shore with all the glamour and drama you can imagine. Their families were so excited to see them tie the knot, and the dramatic night time ceremony was so touching that it brought me to tears. Kim and her gals looked even more fabulous than ever thanks to Thelma and Sandy with Divaz Fabula. Green Pastures in South Austin was the perfect setting and outdid themselves with the food and cake once again. The bride and groom were treated to not one, but two heart-felt musical performances by the groom’s sister and good friend. Rock on Kim and Ralph!

Megan and Charles are a fun loving couple who complement each other very well. Charles definitely plays the straight man to Megan’s hilarious antics. Travis and I can most certainly relate to that! Megan grew up in Georgetown, Texas, and wanted to do their engagement session there. We started at the downtown square and ended out in the country with a glorious sunset as our backdrop.
