Vintage wedding photos in Fredericksburg, Texas! 2012-01-20

What an amazing wedding photo shoot this was! We got together with a few of our favorite wedding professionals to create a gorgeous, vintage, country themed wedding styled shoot in Fredericksburg, Texas. Thelma and Sandy of Divaz Fabula absolutely outdid themselves with the hair, makeup, and wardrobe styling. The dresses were provided by the Austin Fairy Godmother, an phenomenal organization that makes countless girls’ dreams come true for their proms and formal events. Sisters Vintage Party provided and styled all the fabulous furniture, china, and table settings. The breathtaking floral arrangements are the handiwork of Sprout Flowers in Fredericksburg. Kristen Ellis with Stella & Dot provided and styled the perfect jewelry for each bridal look.

Bride on the Run: Erin’s bridal portraits in Salado, Texas! 2012-01-11

Erin’s fiance, Jared, is a captain in the Army stationed at Fort Hood.  She wanted something really special for her bridal portraits.  So we went out to Fort Hood and shot on the tanks!  How cool is that?  Then we finished out the shoot in Salado for some pretty, traditional bridal portrait images.

Model shoot: Tracy’s model portfolio photography at the Texas State Capitol! 2012-01-09

Tracy’s model portfolio photo shoot took us the the Texas State Capitol.  For some of the pictures she brought out a cloak that she had been saving for a special day having never worn it before. As usual, Tracy brought her own brand of intensity to her model photos today.

Two Rings Bind Them: Katey and Thomas’ Wedding Photos at the Hills of Lakeway Country Club! 2011-12-19

Katey and Thomas had an amazingly beautiful and classy wedding at the Hills of Lakeway Country Club on a perfect day in October.  They are both accountants, but boy did they know how to cut loose and have a great time at the reception!  I totally dug Katey’s pink star glamour goggles and those fabulous boas!  The only tense moments of the evening were when the DJ played the fight songs first from UT and then from USC, Katey and Thomas’ respective alma maters.  I’m sure they’ll learn to live with their differences, that is until the next Rose Bowl when they might face off!

Seniors! Anna’s senior portraits at Chuy’s in Austin! 2011-12-16

I love referrals and about half our business is referrals and increasing more and more every year. I suppose one could consider it a mark of success to move to a new town not knowing anyone and five years later find yourself not needing to advertise at all because you’ve made so many people happy that they tell their friends! Awesome! Anna was referred by a friend to us! We shot Anna’s senior portraits at the Long Center in downtown Austin then ran over to Chuy’s so shoot a few pictures inside and out because Anna love Chuy’s. Who can blame her? I love Chuy’s too and I suppose if I had a place that I would like to have pictures on a special day in my life, it might be at Chuy’s too. That is until In-N-Out Burger comes to town then there might be a new place that I’d like to be photographed! Anyhoo, after Chuy’s we went to the 360 bridge on Lake Austin and finished up with some pretty beautiful images there!
