The Proposal

Well, during the summer Zach told me about this creek that ran behind his grandparents' house and led to this beautiful waterfall!  We ended up not being able to go and visit it over the summer, but then I was invited over to Zach's grandparents' house the day after Christmas.  He was very adamant that we should take a walk to see it!  It was a beautiful day, bright, sunny and not too cold.

We started off walking along the creekbed, but it soon became slippery and snowy.  Well, the creek happened to be at the bottom of a ravine, so we made the steep cliimb to the top where there was a path that followed the creek.  It was quite a climb!

We stopped to catch our breath at the top, and as the sun shone through the trees Zachary pulled out a beautiful diamond ring and asked me to marry him!  Of course I said yes, and then we shared our first kiss!
